Lizzy

Dogwood Room Assistant

Lizzy is a Portland, Oregon native and holds a BFA in Drawing and Painting. As an artist with a passion for working with children, she brings a thoughtful, creative, and intuitive approach to her role in the classroom. She is passionate about supporting children’s emotional development and believes in meeting each child with patience, curiosity, and care. Lizzy especially enjoys incorporating art, storytelling, and gentle guidance to help children feel seen, supported, and confident.

Outside of the classroom, she spends her time painting, finding inspiration in everyday moments, and enjoying time with her cats, Mazzy Star and Mabel. She is excited to continue growing her understanding of Montessori and supporting the Toddler Community at Childpeace.
