Jane holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art from Wheaton College in Massachusetts and later earned her Montessori certification from Montessori Northwest and a Master of Education from Loyola University. Her Montessori journey began while living in Prague, Czech Republic, where she worked as a Toddler Guide a Czech–English bilingual program. Jane went on to spend eight years as a Children’s House Guide at West Hills Montessori School in Lake Oswego and three years supporting families as a parenting support specialist at Present Mind Counseling.

Outside the classroom, Jane enjoys cooking, running, swimming, and hiking with her dog. She also loves making art and finds creativity to be an important part of her life and work.
