Sara joined the middle school team in 2014 as a Humanities Guide and Advisor. She began her Montessori journey as a student teacher at The Grove School in Redlands as she completed her BA and English Language Arts secondary teaching credential at the University of Redlands. Sara has an AMS Early Childhood Credential and Masters in Montessori Education from St. Mary's College in California. She worked in Children's House classrooms in California and Alaska for five years before returning to working with adolescents at Childpeace, completing the AMI Adolescent Diploma in 2014. Some of Sara's favorite things to do wtih students are playwriting, ethics discussions, and meal-planning for camping trips!
