Lina was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, holds a BA in English from La Gran Colombia University and a certificate in University Teaching. With over eight years of experience working with children, Lina started her journey in daycares as a teenager. While at university, she taught in public schools in Bogotá and worked teaching English to adults, gainig a big understanding of the gaps in traditional education. After traveling through South and Central America, she immigrated to USA where she joined Childpeace Montessori School. Lina is passionate about languages, learning and personal growth. When she is not at school, you will find her traveling with her son or working on her latest project: building a sustainable children's clothing brand.
