click the “Forgot Username/Password” link, or email volunteer@childpeace.org
for help.

Logging Hours/Signing up for Specific Jobs
We have set up most of the volunteer opportunities as specific Events. To view
these volunteer opportunities, click the Events link. If you are signing up
for a
specific job such as “Classroom Representative”, select that item and click
“Register” and save. The hours allotted for this job will automatically
be credited
to your family. If you feel the hours allotted for that task are not correct
for you,
email volunteer@childpeace.org
and we can manually override the allotted hours
for you.
If you need to sign up for a past event such as “Auction Co-Chair”, select the
checkbox in the top right of the Event list called “Include Inactives”. Then
you
may select a past event and click “Register”. The hours allotted for this job
will
automatically be credited to your family.
Logging Manual Hours for Unspecified Jobs
Don’t see your job specifically listed? Some Events are marked “Manual” – this
means the hours for that job are open ended and require you to submit the actual
hours you worked. For example, if you did a sewing project for a classroom,
you
would select that classroom (example: EL: Redwood Room Volunteer) and record
the date and hours worked for that job. It’s ok to batch hours together under
one
entry.
To Check Your Total Hours
Click “Time Summary” on the main page in the left side navigation under
“Reports”. This will give you a summary of hours for the year thus far. If you
want to see a breakdown of the hours by job, click the “Event” checkbox and
hit
Search again. Also make sure you are grouping the results by “All Time”.
