Jennifer has worked at Childpeace since 1993. After completing her Assistants to Infancy training in August of 1998, Jennifer became a TC classroom Guide. She is devoted to children’s causes and is a court appointed child advocate.

Trang Kim
Assistant

Trang has worked at Childpeace since 1985! Trang is originally from Vietnam. She has a son, a daughter, and two granddaughters, and a grandson who is at Childpeace.

Analyn Nguyen
Guide

Lynn completed her AMI Assistants to Infancy certification in August 2002. She has been with the Toddler Community at Childpeace since 1997, working as an assistant and, since 2001, as the afternoon supervisor as well. She is originally from the Philippines and is bilingual. Lynn lives in Portland with her husband and her son Jonathan, born in 2005.

Emily Gletsos
Morning Assistant

Emily joined Childpeace in 2005 after moving from Vermont. She has spent many years touring around the world with the vocal ensemble Northern Harmony and the Bread and Puppet Theatre. She enjoys singing traditional polyphonic music from Georgia, Corsica, and Bulgaria. She also plays the cello, accordion and banjo.

Shaina moved to Portland in June 2010 from Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she worked in a Montessori community for four years.

Joshua Cunningham
Assistant

Josh is originally from Orange County, CA. He moved to Portland in the summer of 2010 and shortly after started at Childpeace as a substitute. In January of 2011 he permanently joined the Toddler Community as an assistant. Josh worked at a Montessori school in California in a K-1 classroom for 2 years. He has a strong passion for children and the arts and is currently studying music education at Portland State University. He graduates in the spring of 2013.
