3. You will receive a Wait List contract at your program tour. Send your enrollment contract to Childpeace as soon as possible if you are interested. You will be placed on our wait list if space is not available immediately. Enrollment happens one child at a time throughout the year for the Toddler Community, and is scheduled for September of each school year for most children age 3 and up. 4. Once a space is confirmed for your child, a non-refundable $350 wait list deposit is requested to hold your space. Acceptance of children is based on space availability, order of placement on the interest list, Childpeace's perceived ability to meet your child's needs, and balancing classes by age and gender. Priority is given to siblings of children in the program, and after age 4 for transfers from other Montessori schools. |

5. We then schedule an observation in the classrooms (mornings are best). After your visit, please feel free to talk with the program director, Sue Pritzker, or the assistant program director, Merri Baehr Whipps, to discuss your observation, your child and any questions you may have. |
| 6. Your child's previous educational experience and an assessment of Childpeace's ability to meet your child's needs may also be a factor in the enrollment process. The classroom guide will schedule a time to meet with you and your child prior to an enrollment decision. For children ages 5 and above, we will request school records and a teacher's assessment letter from your child's previous school. We will also have the child visit during the school day to assess their placement. | |
